Dr. Popp is Director of Campus Ministry at Alverno College in Milwaukee, WI. where she teaches Meditation classes for students, faculty and staff. She is a popular speaker and workshop leader on a variety of psychological and spiritual topics. Previously, she was the Director of Campus Ministry at UW Milwaukee’s Newman Center and Instructor in Peace Studies. She also directed the Center for Justice and Peace at St. Thomas University in Miami, FL where she taught an undergraduate peace studies curriculum.
Connie’s education includes a Master’s degree in Pastoral Ministry and a Doctorate in Education, both with an emphasis in Peace Studies. She has taught and lectured on conflict resolution and mediation; theology and meditation, stress management, using movies to illustrate ministry themes such as service and morality, the Enneagram as a tool for growth and diverse peace studies courses. She has directed retreats, presented workshops and taught courses in parishes and universities since 1980.
