One thing the above quote does not mention is that going confidently in the direction of your dreams may not necessarily present a straight path forward. Twists and turns often occur. At times, life events seem to prevent or delay us from living the life we imagined, which can be aggravating at the time of their occurrence, but might also help us move in a direction better than the one originally planned.
Reassessing the path we are on is a natural part of the life process and, sometimes, making detours might propel us onto a dream pathway never before imagined
