Respite: A short interval of rest or relief

“There is in the worst of fortune,
the best chance for a happy change.”
– Euripides

Is it time to reconfigure our expectations and abilities, our demands and capabilities? One of the hardest lessons in life is to realize we cannot do everything nor should we even want to. Allowing ourselves time for rest and enjoyment is critical to living a fulfilled life.

Allowing ourselves to ask for help, and allowing others the privilege of providing that help, is a wonderfully humbling process, and one that is also necessary to leading a fulfilled life.
