Life is about facing and managing change--career, personal, family, spiritual. This is an opportunity to reflect on your life and your faith, exploring avenues for new opportunities. You will engage practical career transition content, poetry, and prayer which will allow you to begin clarifying vocational needs and goals.We all need a vision for our gifts--and language to describe our career/ life objectives. The retreat will include a variety of activities including discussion, personal writing, film, music, reflective solitude and one to one consultation. Each participant will set goals, develop resources for change while learning imaginative ways to know God's presence on the journey.

Tom Bachhuber is Director of the Career Development Center at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where he also started the UWM Career Transitions Center for adults facing career change and job loss. Dr. Bachhuber is President of the Board of Directors for The Center for Life Transitions, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to helping people in transition. His work with both universities and corporations has been extensive, providing training, research and recruitment strategies to Fortune 500 companies and consultation to over 100 major university career centers throughout the country.
